Standard of Living S.O.L.:
Level of material well-being, measured by education, housing, health care, and nutrition. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) - the total value of goods and services produced in a country in a year divided by the total population. Infrastructure - structures that support a society, such as roads, water supply, sewers, electrical grid, etc…

HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX HDI measures the average achievements in a country
Three Basic Components of HDI: A long and healthy life, as measured by life expectancy at birth. Knowledge, as measured by the adult literacy rate (with two-thirds weight) and the combined primary, secondary and tertiary gross enrollment ratio (with one-third weight). A decent standard of living, as measured by GDP per capita in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms in US dollars.
