American Education Week
Mrs. Luberecki’s 3rd Grade Class Newsletter 2017 American Education Week On Tuesday, November 14th parents are invited to participate in a lesson in honor of American Education Week. Students will be completing a fun, hands-on STEM Challenge from 2:30 – 3:10PM. More information coming home soon so mark your calendars! Technology Update All of our websites are currently up and running! Students can log in on their own time at home to practice their skills. Raz- Kids is a great tool to practice reading skills. Study Island is a great tool for math and reading skills. Rosetta Stone is now accessible as well to practice your Spanish! Google Classroom is also on its way to being available at home. We will be getting students on this month in the classroom to complete some activities and to become familiar with the program. Please be sure to read the directions being sent home and sign the permission slip for students to use Google Classroom. Thank you! A quick thank you to the Room Parents for a great Halloween Class Party! We appreciate all of your hard work! Math – Topic 4: Using Multiplication to Divide and Topic 5: Fluently Multiply & Divide Within 100 Reading – Fact & Opinion, Main Idea & Details, and Text Structure Writing – Paragraphs & Narrative Writing Spelling – New words given on a Monday & students are tested on Fridays! Students should be completing 2 activities & gluing in the journal a week for homework! Science – Changes in Matter Social Studies – Communities continued, Rights & Responsibilities, & Current Events Health – Personal Safety What are we learning this month?
