How to Register in MyAccountingLab?
You Need 2 things Address Access code or credit card: The required access code comes either from your book (not with used book), or by itself at the bookstore. Alternatively, you can buy instant access with a credit card or PayPal account during registration. Register through your Canvas Course: Log in to your Canvas course. Look for a link called “MyLab and Mastering” on the left-navigation menu of the Canvas course website. Click on it to go to the Pearson Tools page in your course, and then click on the “MyAccountingLab Course Home” link (or Open MyAccountingLab link) to begin your one-time registration process. If you don’t see the registration process popping open in a new Canvas window, disable your browser’s pop-up blocker: Disabling pop-up blockers Video instructions of how to register are located by clicking on the following link:

Next, get access to your Pearson course content 1) Enter your Pearson account username and password to Link Accounts. You have an account if you have ever used a MyLab or Mastering product. If you don’t have a Pearson account, select Create and follow the instructions. Use your school address. 2) Select an access option: Enter the access code that came with your textbook or that you purchased separately from the bookstore (If available for your course) If you don’t have an access code, you can buy access using a credit card or PayPal. Get temporary access (14 day access) 3) From the You’re Done page, select Go to My Courses. *Zero and “o” look very similar in access codes. If you are getting errors, try substituting one for the other

You will need to also be sure that you have disabled your pop-up blockers. You can find information on how to disable pop-up blockers for all browsers here. Internet Explorer tends to cause issues. Did you perform your browser check within MyLab? Clear Cache/Cookies. Exit browser, re-open browser.

Just Started A New Chapter In Class? If you have purchased the eText, read it or if you haven’t, read your textbook. Go to the Multimedia Library, search for all the resources that are linked to the chapter and review the relevant resources. Make sure to check out the resources in each chapter by clicking Chapter Resources and browsing around walkthrough videos, animations, power point notes. Preparing for Class Need a refresher on what this chapter was all about? Go to the Chapter Resources and pull up the chapter videos and animated/interactive figures, flash cards in each chapter. Do your Chapter Homework: check the “Assignments” tab to see if your instructor assigned homework, quizzes, or tests for you to complete before class. Check out the Study Plan tool to see recommendations for what to work on next. The recommendations correspond to sections or objectives in your textbook. If your instructor assigns Study Plan work as a prerequisite for tests or quizzes, the Prerequisites tab will display the study plan for you to complete. Study plan is based off your results from homework and quizzes so it is constantly adapting and showing you your strengths and weakness. Go to Dynamic Study Modules to increase your knowledge by 25%! These modules are adaptive and help you figure out what your areas of weakness in this curriculum. When you are ready, click Quiz Me for the first recommended section or objective to prove that you have mastered the material. When you have mastered the material, your Study Plan recommends a new section or objective to work on. To see how many sections or objectives you have mastered and how many still remain, you can click the Progress tab.
