Literacy and Maths Taught every day Whole Class Reading each week
Morning and afternoon work Handwriting Spelling- daily activities, homework, tested each week. Times tables practice and homework book Mental Maths Interventions Maths Calculation Strategies

Homework Given out on a Tuesday and handed in on a Monday
Daily reading Weekly spellings Spelling sentences Maths activity related to current learning Times tables book (Friday to Friday) Theme projects (Maximum 3 per year)

Daily (need at least 5 recorded) Keep a record in the home link books
Reading at home Daily (need at least 5 recorded) Keep a record in the home link books It doesn’t have to be the link book that they read but it is recommended Reading rewards Reading levels- don’t panic! Use questions from flyer/link books

PE Indoor (gymnastics and dance) Games (outdoors all year)
Adventurous (orienteering and potential Year 4 overnight camp) Appropriate kit all week as the timetable can change and there are often extra sessions, particularly when the weather is good Earrings need to be removed and hair must be tied up if shoulder length or longer

Academic year split evenly in to 4 blocks with one class per block.
Listen 2 Me Whole class Ukulele lessons taught by Mrs Durham from Hampshire Music Service. Academic year split evenly in to 4 blocks with one class per block.

Miscellaneous Bags- small rucksack/book bag where possible
Snacks- fruit/healthy (cereal bar, crackers) Name all equipment and uniform, including water bottles and snack boxes
