Italwinch has an electronic R&D Dep. with competences on industrial electronic, radio transmission, graphic display and standard cable protocol transmission (CAN, Modbus, etc.).
Italwinch has a mechanical R&D Dep. for design of windlasses, capstans and deck equipments for: pleasure, commercial and military boats up to 32mm stud link chains.

3. Products Hints
Italwinch is a new brand but we have a long history and experience.
The product is 100% made in Italy. Our quality is very high because we think that there’s no security in a low cost anchoring solution.
Possibility to study the bow anchoring zone in 2D/3D design with the shipyard.
Custom made solutions for all the accessories that the shipyard need, unique for every ship. (bow-rollers, chain lockers, multi-speed solutions, etc.)

4. Officina Navale Nanni acquisition
O.N.N. was born in 1950 in Viareggio; it is specialized in creating vertical and horizontal windlasses, chain stoppers, capstans and deck equipments for boats up to 90 metres (chain 32mm with stud-link). All the products support electric and hydraulic supplies and can be certified with the most important naval registers (RINA, CCS, BV, CNV, LR, RMRS, ABS, etc.).
Thanks to this takeover (did in april 2017), O.N.N. will enter together with ORVEA in the ITALWINCH windlass brand widening a lot our range.
Some of the most important clients of O.N.N. are: Codecasa, Azimut Benetti, San Lorenzo, CBI Navi, Viareggio SuperYacht, Rossi Navi, Overmarine-Mangusta, Cantiere Navale delle Marche and Perini Navi.

Posidonia is an Italian manufactuer of anchors, anchor pockets and chains
Posidonia and Italwinch support the shipyard during the project offering an unique integrated working solution: a package starting from anchor to the windlass, everything under the strictest world’s classification requirements. (2D and 3D)
