6A:19-7 Purpose and Scope This subchapter defines the programmatic requirements for private career schools and sets minimum standards for curriculum and personnel. The New Jersey Department of Education’s regulations, in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s rules regarding private career schools at N.J.A.C. 12:41, establish the procedures for operating a private career school in New Jersey.

Labor Workforce Development adopted amendments to N.J.A.C. 12:41 on December 19, To ensure alignment between the two sets of regulations and to prevent regulation conflict, amendments are being recommended to N.J.A.C. 6A:19-7.
