Keep in mind the following things: Do not make the writing too large (it will be printed on A0). This size is a good minimum size. The boxes (part 1 – part 4) are not mandatory, but usually it makes sense to use them. The sizes can be adapted. Use colour to highlight certain things. Use ChemDraw ACS style. You can modify this if you wish (e.g. increasing line width). Copy and paste ChemDraws directly into the ppt file. Use identical sizes for all ChemDraws etc. Don´t use excessive amount of text. Your poster should get someone´s attention so that you can explain the story to him/her. It does not need to have all the information in written form. Check the hallways of the institute for examples. In the end, send us your final file by (both as ppt and as pdf). We will print it.
