1 Shot Rock Gold Property, Nova Scotia
Introduction and wholly-owned subsidiary Shot Rock Gold Property, Nova Scotia This slide shows a little more detail of the western James Bay Lowlands including the McFaulds Lake Area. The very large area shaded dark purple in the middle of the map is the interpreted outline of the HIGHBANK LAKE INTRUSIVE COMPLEX. The Highbank property portion is confirmed as being underlain PGE bearing layered intrusive rocks and under option to Impala. Eastbank is owned 100% by Northern Shield and we hope to confirms its identify as part of the intrusion with a drill program in April, 2009. The McFaulds Lake area is located about 30 km to the North of Highbank and of course includes those nickel and chromite discoveries by Noront and Freewest. All the yellow dots on the map represent known Ni-Cu-PGE and/or Chromite deposits and occurrences. You can see how there is a distinct cluster of occurrences in this area and particularly surrounding the Highbank Lake Intrusive Complex. Update to Accompany Press Release November 22, 2018
