4. What is the Federal Student Aid Program
Authorized under the Higher Education Act, established in 1965
Federal aid partners with postsecondary schools, financial institutions and others to deliver services to help students and families pay for college
Eligibility is determined by certain factors

FAFSA
To apply for federal student aid, such as federal grants, work-study, and loans, you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form.
If you don’t fill out the FAFSA form, you could be missing out on a lot of financial aid!
