3. Reminders Change to the direction of a kickoff
The Kickoff no longer needs to move forward; it can be kicked in any direction
All players need to be on their side of the field, defenders need to be 10 yards from the ball
Once teams are aligned, the kicker can step across the midline to kick-off backward to his/her teammates.

4. Reminders Placement of the ball for Offside
The ball is now placed where the offending player is at the time of the infraction
Place the ball where the offending player was at the time we raise our flag.  That is when we made the judgement that the player had become involved in play

5. Reminders No Heading in U12 and below.
Proper positioning of the Indirect Free Kick inside the goal area. 
If the defending team heads the ball in the goal area, the kick comes out to the edge of the Goal Area (just like any other Indirect Free Kick awarded to the Attacking Team)  
If the attacking team heads the ball into the goal, the goal is called back, and the indirect kick is awarded to the defending team at the spot of the offense

Special Rules for Younger Divisions
For U5 to U7, the throw-in is replaced by the kick-in.
No goal keepers in U7 and below.
No offside in U8 and below.
No punting or drop-kicking by the keeper in U10 and below.
A punt/drop-kick is considered dropping the ball from a hand and kicking it before or as it hits the ground
A keeper may play the ball to his or her own feet and may dribble or pass.
Violations will result in an IFK at the spot of the foul.
A keeper who attempts to circumvent this rule by disguising a punt/drop-kick as a pass may be called for a violation at the discretion of the referee.

The build-out line (BOL)
The BOL will be approximately equidistant from the top of the penalty area and the halfway line and will be used in U8 and U10 divisions.
When the keeper gains possession of the ball or at goal kicks, all opposing players must move to behind the BOL. Opposing players can cross the BOL once the keeper releases the ball from his or her hands or once the ball is kicked from a goal kick.
The six-second requirement for a keeper starts once all opposing players are behind the BOL. A keeper does not have to wait for all opposing players to be behind the BOL before releasing the ball.

If an opposing player crosses the BOL before a keeper releases it, the referee may choose to halt play and restart with a drop ball to the keeper. If an opposing player crosses the BOL before the ball is kicked from a goal kick, the referee may choose to halt play and have the goal kick retaken.
The BOL will not be used as a reference to determine if an attacking player is offside (reference point will remain at the halfway line).
The BOL will not be used to determine either where a keeper can throw, pass, or roll a ball or where a player can kick a goal kick.
The GK cannot deliberately kick or pass the ball beyond the BOL. If this is done (in the judgment of the referee) the restart is an IFK for the opposing team.

22. Parents as Linesmen (U7 and U8)
Each Team is expected to provide a linesman for each game
Coaches have been provided a vest and flag to give to their parent
The linesman is there to assist the referee to call ball out of play and indicated direction of throw-in

23. Parents as Linesmen Coaches have been instructed to:
Keep this Vest and Flag in your Equipment Bag.
Nominate a parent to run a line for each game
This responsibility can be shared by parents during the game (e.g. each parent takes one half of the game)
