Being able to use computers means:
getting people involved in creating materials
adaptability in using different technologies

having adequate editing skills
basic skills for operating the machine

be more at ease in a digital interactive environment (online gaming experience, social networking etc)
be well-versed in utilizing technology
use different technology: IOS- or Android-based apps
want to participate actively rather than passively listen/watch

5. Some suggestions
don’t just find a video > inspire them to find videos themselves
don’t just play a video > get them to make one
don’t just give them a written assignment > start an assignment on Google docs and motivate them to contribute in one collective effort
do have faith in their goodwill, step back and watch them show what they can do
don’t just grade them like a lesser god > give them the instrument to evaluate their own work;
