But because of the conditions that they face they can’t break out of this cycle… and instead they are forced back into it.

5. Introducing The Food Chain.
Our solution is simple. Everything we need already exists.
We have grocery stores. We have cities housing impoverished communities. And we want to bring these two together to solve this major social issue.

6. by bringing sustainable grocery stores to the inner city to enable the people in the community to become a knowledgeable worker that can escape cyclical poverty.

7. There are other grocery store chains that have tried to solve this social issue… but our key pillars set us apart.
Three speakers each talking about one point.
First, we pay a livable wage so that our employees don’t just feel like they’re being treated fairly – they’re making enough money so that they no longer have to live paycheck to paycheck and can start thinking more long term financially. Instead of paying the minimum wage of $10, we will pay our employees a livable wage of $16.
Second, we provide healthy, nutritional options for the community so that they can make sure their families are getting access to the nutrients that they need. We also will subsidize the cost of the food in order to make it more affordable for the members of the impoverished communities.
Third, we invest in the communities that we have locations in – we’re more than just the towns grocery store – we’re investing the communities through education, recreational, and other initiatives. In many impoverished communities, they lack the proper infrastructure and funds to help people to break out of the cycle. they By helping the community develop and prosper, we help empower individuals and families as well as create economic sustainability within the commmunty.
