Example I agree that a sense of “rat race” among students is good because students know who works the hardest in their class. It is true that a sense of “rat race” puts pressure on students. But, pressure may inspire students to be more productive. In summary, I believe that sometimes it might be good to have a sense of a “rat race” as long as it is not too overwhelming for students.
