Romeo and Juliet Act III Vocabulary
With a partner or group, read each word and its pair of sentences. Find clues in the sentences that help you understand the word’s meaning. You may mark the sentences. Develop a definition for each word. On your vocabulary list, write down the word and your own definition. List any word parts that you can identify: prefixes, suffixes and roots.

Compare your group’s definition with the class definition; In the “Compare” box, tell how your definition is like the class definition and tell how your definition is different from the class definition; In the “Deep Processing” box, do one of the following: write an example of the word, draw a picture of the word, write a sentence using the word or write a synonym for the vocabulary word
