One single organism
Example: Rabbit

4. Population
All the individuals of one kind (one species) in a specified area at one time
Example: Rabbits

5. Community All interacting populations in a specified area
Example: bees, ladybugs and flowers

6. Ecosystem
A system of interacting organisms and nonliving factors in a specified area
Examples: Forest and pond

7. Biotic Living organisms and products of organisms
Examples: tree, horse

8. Abiotic
A nonliving thing
Examples: rock, sunlight

9. Population density
The number of individuals in an area of a specific size.

Population density = flamingos = flamingos per square meter

10. Limiting factors
An environmental factor that causes a population to decrease.
Some examples are food, water and space.

11. Carrying capacity
The largest population that an area can support.
