9. Pro Sports Career Day
Goal for this year would be to set this Career Day Event up for all Business students.
This event is an education workshop presented by the Portland Timbers and Portland Trail Blazer management team. This event is a unique opportunity for marketing students to get insight into the day-to-day marketing in sports organizations.
Speakers from different departments in the these organizations will talk about their role with the team.

DECA began during the period between 1937 and 1942 and was primarily referred to as D.E. Clubs
These initial Clubs were formed primarily because students who were enrolled in D.E. classes were working after school and did not have time to participate in extra-curricular activities such as athletics - so they formed their own organization.

There are over 3,500 high school DECA chapters across the nation and the world.
DECA has two primary divisions: high school and collegiate.

Brycen Woodley is the Oregon State DECA Advisor.
He is a nationally recognized trainer and speaker for CTSO. Brycen began his career with DECA as a student member and later served as DECA National President.
