Elementary Algebra (MAT115)
College-Level Math (Depends on Major)
The ACCUPLACER Math section is graded on a scale that ranges between 20 and 120 points.

Purpose is to measure how well a student can develop an argument, using evidence-based support, as well as the appropriate mechanical conventions.

0 – Blank or Illegible
1 – 2 Inadequate and weak writing proficiency
3 – Low level of writing proficiency
4 – Developing level of writing proficiency
5 – Adequate level of writing proficiency
6 – Minimal level of writing proficiency
7 – Sufficient level of writing proficiency
8 – Exemplary level of writing proficiency
