5 Youth strategy at the Regional council in Kalmar County
A part of the Regional Development Strategy Lupp gives indicators attractiveness participation safety health We know that up til 80% of our youth wants to move from their home municipality. To make them stay or come back we need to be attractive. If you feel you can make influence and have participation you will feel that you are needed and that someone is listening to you. The feeling of safety also plays a roll when it comes to your feeling about your childhood and growing-up conditions. Both mentally and physically health among our young people has increased and we need to turn this negative trend. We also know that there are big differences between the boys and the girls expericences and we need to consider that in our work Equality; boys and girls, different nationalities, different religions etc

6 Municipal strategies Instead of youth strategies many municipalities in Kalmar Region has Youth Policy Programs or action- or activity plans based on their local Lupp-results
