LEBENSRAUM (living space for Germans) CONTROL Hitler Youth CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE MORE IMPRESSIONABLE MOST LIKELY TO REBEL GET TO PARENTS THROUGH THEM Boys trained to be warriors to fight Girls trained to be mothers Aim To create a strong united Germany Where only Nazi ideas are allowed.

Did all young people join the Hitler Youth?
By 1939 there were 8.9 million year olds The membership was 7.3 million So more than 1.5 million did not join despite it being compulsory. Why not?
