How can we use games in science?
Starter activities to introduce a new topic or recap from a previous lesson. Learn vocabulary Small group work - interventions Assessment – At beginning and end of topic

Examples of games to play:
Board games Quiz Bingo Dot game Matching games – Pictures to vocab There are lots of games on the internet. Some that you can print out or make and There are many that you can also play online. – lots of ideas from twinkl and pinterest

Dr Science: A character that can be found around the school to do with extra science activities. Dining Room Display Playground box

Science peers: Parent workshop and science for homework.

Science club: Meet once a week after school.
21year six children attend. Book reviews Experiments – based on their ideas. Working in outdoor classroom Applying to become Science Monitors, Garden Monitors, Resource Monitors and Eco Monitors.

Games children have made:
Last task given was to make a game that other year groups could use to learn about science. They came up with board games using scratch, quizzes, jigsaw puzzles.
