Bar Graph analysis Bar Graph:
In this graph, I asked my first period class what mode of transportation they used to get to school. I wanted to see if there was a correlation with kids who were late to school versus kids who were on time. I found that most of the time the kids who are late to my class ride the bus. I know it is not their fault, but I do find that interesting.

Line Graph Analysis Line Graph:
In this graph I asked my second period how long they studies for our last unit test. I found this very interesting because my second period scored extremely high test scores. It shows too. Most kids do not spend that long studying. I had 18 kids raise their hand to say that they studied for around 30 minutes. We had also done a game and study guide in class so this studying was on top of that. The average score for this class was 89% which is really good for a unit test.

Conclusion I wanted to do graphs/presentation. I actually did these graphs on my smart board with my students in class. I really did not know about the “create a graph” website which I thought was a really cool and easy way for us to show data. A lot of the time in my class, at the end of a lab, I ask students to create a graph to represent their data. This would be an easy and fun way to show it. It would also be faster and a lot easier for me to grade.
