1 Verbal, Telephone, and Policy Orders Verbal and Telephone Orders will immediately release to the service (pharmacy, lab, x-ray, etc.) –They do send a view alert to the clinician that they have an order that requires electronic signature Policy (Standing) Orders will also immediately release to the service but will not require an electronic signature by the provider.

2 1.Click on yellow visit box. 2.Choose an existing appointment or if one does not exist, choose the New Visit tab. 3.Make sure that you are not designated as the provider once you have selected the visit.

3 1.Release to Service - Choose one of the radio buttons. 2.These two would not be used as frequently as the above. Signed on Chart - when you have a written order in the chart. There will be no electronic signature by the provider. Hold until Signed – Allows you to enter an order for a provider but they will not be released to the service till the provider electronically signs the orders. See 2 below Enter the desired order and then click the signature icon in the upper right corner (hand and pen)
