2 Objectives 1. To explain occlusal terms and concepts demonstrated during Occlusion Block and Independent Tutorial. 2. To demonstrate explain mandibular movements and tracing diagrams. 3. To demonstrate clinical proficiency in articulating and making cast for treatment planning.

Bring: Articulated Casts on Hanau Semi-adjustable articulator made from Rubber molds made during Occlusion Laboratory session. Copy of completed Occlusion document. To be completed from Independent Occlusion Tutorial. To be used during seminar discussion.

Excellent 5 points Superior 4 points Satisfactory 3 points Unsatisfactory 0 points 1. Casts and Articulation on Hanau Articulator Maximum 5 points Casts and mounting plaster extremely smooth and neat and teeth mounted accurately in maximum intercuspation. Condylar angulation accurately represented Slight imperfections in casts and mounting. .Condylar inclination accurately represented Some noticeable irregularities in mounting plaster, however casts accurately mounted and accurate condylar inclination made 2. Seminar participation Student participated fully and was able to demonstrate full knowledge on the subject/ question asked. Was able to instruct his group Student answered questions accurately with no errors Student answered questions accurately but with some errors Student did not participate

5 Cast evaluation After referring to the manual and before coming to seminar you may discuss criteria with faculty during lab for understanding of criteria. Do not request evaluation of your casts in advance of seminar. The cast base should be ~1/2” thick!
