Independent Party Background
The American Independent Political Party is a far right party of the United States that was established in 1967 by Bill Shearer and his wife, Eileen Knowlen Shearer. Of the states Wallace ran on every state ballot in the 1968 presidential election, though he did not represent the American Independent Party in all fifty states; in connecticut for instance he was listed on the ballot as a nominee of the “George Wallace Party”.
3
Major Or Minor? The Independent party plays a smaller role in politics and is a minor party in the United States. There is a population of one percent for the fact that anyone in the America can be independent.
4
Major Issues The Independent party can be any one because of the fact that you’re independent. You could be a republican or a democrat and spread out from your party because you have different views or or the same opinions on both sides of the two major parties. When major issues like abortion, same sex marriage and guns are brought up, the independent party, who could be anyone, can have their own views. They’re independent and can represent as just themselves based on their own beliefs and opinions.

Independent Party Officials
There are no elected officials in Michigan or the government for the Independent party, it’s mostly consumed of just Democrats and Republicans. Yet there were some Independent party members going in the election of 2016, none of them had enough votes to carry on. The reason for this is that an Independent party can be anyone with any views regarding whatever their opinions are. Meaning that it will be hard for them to get votes from anyone that has the exact same ones as them which will be a very small percentage.

Independent Party Symbol
This logo is a commanding square with a red, blue and black color scheme that is similar to most modern parties while remaining distinct. The “I” in the center has an American flag wrapped around it, with the flag appears to be flowing. This gives the impression of both forward movement and ties to the American past through graphic designs, which is the intended message of this party.

He’s was in the air force making him a veteran to this country and has a strong belief when it comes to the second amendment, right to bear arms. One of his main responsibilities and things he promises in his campaign was that if he becomes president he will not raise taxes to balance the federal budget. He hopes to bring back NASA and continue their great work they once started by putting money back towards it because we he believes and one day wants people to be able to live on another planet besides earth.

Darrell Castle Major Views
Darrell Castle is part of the independent party and comes from a strong military family. He served four years in marines and then went to finish and pursue a law degree at the University of Memphis. He also comes from a family of christians and believes this country developed off of christianity and thinks that if we aim to restore the country’s law and governance to its original Biblical common law fundamentals. He does not support the Federal Reserve’s control of the United States’ monetary system by repealing the Federal Reserve Act. Interest rates would no longer be tampered with, as lenders and borrowers would set their own rates.

Conclusion All in all, the independent party can sometimes be hard to understand because it is not a group of certain individuals with certain beliefs. It is made up of individuals with their own personal beliefs and opinions, who all stand on their own. A fun fact about the independent party is the candidates only have to share what information they want to disclose. For example some individuals won’t share much personal information, only what they believe is important to making a difference in the society as a whole.
