February Book It!
Don’t forget to continue reading every night for our February Book It challenge.
As a PTA fundraiser, students can pay $1 to wear a hat on Friday. All students are asked to wear as much red and black as possible to show our love for TCIS!
Mid-terms
Mid-terms will be coming home on Monday, February 12!
Valentines Day!!
We will exchange Valentines and candy on February 14th. I have purchased bags that we will decorate in class. I am attaching a list of names for Valentines. We have 23 students in our class.

Science
Students will continue learning about natural disasters and working on their research project.
Homework due Friday!
Cowherd, Justice, Payne, and Thompson
Mrs. Thompson’s and Mrs. Payne’s homeroom need individually wrapped candy for their treat containers.
Reading
Students are finishing up text structures by studying cause and effect this week. Homework is going home today and is due on Wednesday!
Math
Students will be adding/subtracting mixed numbers and multiplying fractions.
Writing
Students will be finishing up on helping/linking verbs. Test on Thursday. Study guide will be coming home on Tuesday.
