Meter Class – The maximum amount of current that the meter can handle. Meters are available in Class 20, Class 200, and Class This is similar to the difference between a 5/8” or 1” water meter Meter Voltage – The voltage that the meter is rated for. Sensus meters are 120V or 240V depending on meter form. Honeywell meters are auto ranging 120V-480V. Meter Form – This defines the type of service the meter is to be installed on and depends on how the utility and their customer are wired. Sensus Meter Forms (NO 480V meter) 1S 2S 2SE 3S 4S 12S/25S Honeywell Meter Forms (Required if 480V) 8/9S 15/16S 12S 36S 45S Test Amps – The current at which the meters accuracy was tested and certified Meter Kh – Used when testing meters. “Watthour per revolution” Only specified for 3S or 4S Sensus meters. All other meters, this is a fixed value
