8 Questions on survey results

9 What did the survey show in terms of accessibility?
This survey that I gave access to a few students, showed me that there are a lot of students that have internet access, but there are also a lot of students that doesn’t have access to the internet or Wi-Fi. In this case of the few peoples results I took into focus, there are more students that have access to the internet or Wi-Fi.

10 Did all students surveyed have access to the Internet outside of campus?
No, because although some students have access to the internet, some students said no, in the case of outside campus they will not have internet access. When they might have internet access, and they said no, this means that although they have internet access, it might not always work or be available.

11 If so, what was the most common means of access?
The most common means of access will be to go to restaurants or places that have Wi-Fi hotspots for people or students. They will work late at campus and try do all things that are most possible for them to do.

12 If not, why do you think this is the case?
The restaurants or hotspot places may be far away of the students location. They probably need to order or drink something when at the hotspot area. It will also cost money to travel to he hotspot area.

13 Did socio-economic factors play a role in your findings?
Yes, because when you have spendable money that you can use, you can get your own Wi-Fi, or you can have enough money to travel to the different places. When you don’t have enough money to travel, you can’t travel to the internet acces to where you need to be, you also won’t have access to Wi-Fi connection that you can’t provide for yourself.

14 Did everyone have the same level of skill in using technology?
No, everyone had different technology skills. Some students don’t have a lot or any technology skills at all. Some students have technology skills that were taught to them when they where young and after the years they enhanced their skills to make it even better.

15 Was there a correlation between the level of access available and skills?
Yes, because it should be that when you have access to the internet, your skills with the internet will obviously be better than a person who doesn't have access at all. But some students who may have access to the internet may not have the skills, because they only received that access now or the skills were never tought to them.

16 Create a blog entry titled Digital Access, provide a link to the online survey, and attach the graphs and PowerPoint presentation. WordPress.
