Employee Expenses There are several topics within employee expenses:
Travel Authorizations (previously known as LOD) Expense Reports Travel (In District and Other) Reimbursements - including tuition reimbursement

To delegate or not to delegate?
Enter my own Travel and Expense reports. I have the information, just enter, upload attachments, and send it on its way. I will need to provide my delegate with concise information to key. My delegate will key the information into the system.

To access PeopleSoft I will need to complete PeopleSoft training.
Complete the training in this course. Quiz results from the highlighted topics will need to be printed, signed, scanned and ed to

I want to delegate… Now that I have completed Expense training and I still wish to delegate, I will navigate following this path, selecting “Delegate Entry Authority.”

Then… Click on the +… Click on the magnifying glass…

and then I will… Look Up my delegate: I will need to Search by “Description” entering the last name of my delegate Hit the “Save” button

Next steps? My Delegate Will enter the information on my behalf.
And then… For Travel Authorizations For Expense Reports They will click on “Submit” They will provide me with the Authorization ID for tracking. My submitted Travel Authorization will flow to my Supervisor’s queue for approval. They will click on “Save for Later” They will provide me with the Report ID so I can Submit my report.

Next steps continued Me, the employee
After logging in to the system and navigating to Expense Report’s Create/Modify link… Will select “Find an Existing Value”, enter the Report ID, then click on “Search”

I will then… Upload any additional supporting documentation by clicking on “Attachments” as necessary. Verify the keyed information for accuracy, including accounting information.

I am ready to Submit. Is everything entered correctly? Now I will click on “Summary and Submit” If not, then either correct, or ask my Delegate to correct For Expense Reports

And then? Expense Reports
After clicking on Summary and Submit, a new window opens. Review the information, then click on the attestation box.

I have certified… Once the box is checked, the “Submit Expense Report” button is then available. After clicking on the Submit button, I will receive a confirmation.

From here? After I have received my confirmation, the Expense Report will flow to my Supervisor’s queue for their approval. Once approved, it will flow into the Accounts Payable module for payment.
