Lost/Damaged/Overdue Materials Policy

2. Lost Materials
Patrons are encouraged to search for a lost item for at least one circulation period (one week) before paying the fine. Once an item is paid for, it becomes the property of the patron. No Refunds.

3. Overdue Materials
Patrons with overdue materials will not be allowed to check out any other materials until all overdue materials are returned and/or all fines are paid.

4. Damaged Materials
Damaged materials become the property of the patron after it is paid for and withdrawn from the catalogue system.

5. Fines
Fines for damaged or lost items will be based on the replacement cost at the time of payment. Fines are expected to be paid in full.

6. Unpaid Fines
Fines will remain in place until the student graduates from high school.

7. Exceptions
Upon teacher request, students with lost/damaged/overdue materials may check out additional materials in their teacher’s name. These books are not to leave campus.
