5 Region 10 Membership Region 10 is currently the largest IEEE region. At the end of January 2013 the Region had 111,412 total members: Region 10 represents 25% of IEEE’s total membership. The Region has 59,623 Higher Grade Members, 14,654 Graduate Student Members and 37,135 Student Members. Membership in the Region is up by 8.7% from January 2012, representing a gain of 8,961 members. Higher grade membership is up by 8.4% from January 2012, representing a gain of 4,611 members. Graduate Student Membership is up slightly by 13.7% January 2012, representing a gain of 1,764 members. Student membership is up by 7.5% from January 2012, representing a gain of 2,586 members.

Implement new experimental approaches for volunteer commitment & engagement Social media & professional career tools Limited time & focus commitments Segment 2 Young members who are connected to IEEE’s vision and want to be more involved. Career services, networking, education, and social media/online tools are very important to them. (20%) Segment 4 Members (geographically skewed to EMEA) who want to be more involved and hold leadership positions in the future, but do not know how and have not been invited to do so. They feel products and services are difficult to use. Because of this, satisfaction is low and they are the least inclined to renew their membership. 11/28/2018
