12 Implementation readiness: what you can do now
Inventory—all of your locally purchased databases, with vendor contacts when possible Groups—think about the groups of users (alumni, etc) IT—Talk with campus IT staff who manage identity/access/active directory

13 What IT needs to know OpenAthens is a well-established and secure SAML solution for libraries that libraries in Georgia will be using to manage authentication and access to resources OpenAthens will need to connect to the campus active directory in order to set up a connection This can generally be done via or during a short online meeting during which: OpenAthens will add your institutions IdP metadata file to the configuration Work with IT staff to set up attributes to be passed Map those attributes
