2. Habitat
Their ancestors lived in North America now they live in Central and South America. It lives in the rainforest in the canopy layer so other animals can’t get to them. There’s also moss on them so they can camouflage and survive that way.

The color of the sloth is brown, black and gray. Also their size is feet and there weight is 8-17 pounds and they have soft fur. Since they are upside down there hair grows upside down too and their claws are so long that not much animals have those claws.

Their diet is an omnivore and they eat leaves and fruit but sometimes they will eat birds eggs, lizards and insects.
How slow do I move?
Since they’re slow on the ground they move 2 meters per minute and when there on trees they feel safer there so on trees 3 meters per minute .

Life Cycle
They give live birth and they give birth to 1 baby a year. It takes 6 to 11 months to be born. They also live by them self so that way they feel safe.
The adults most of the time they have brown fur and some light brown on there fur, too, and they give birth to 1 baby a year. They also take care of them for 5 to 6 months, and the baby’s don’t have a special name also never had groups .The adults live for 10 years.

5. Animal Interactions
They protect itself by smelling like trees so no one eats them. They communicate by shrieking if its prey hiss, slash their claws and bite.
The sloth is camouflaging for safety.
Their predators are the harpy eagle, Jaguar and humans . They interact by blending in with leaves so predators don’t eat them.
