“Provides an alternative to university and sixth form. It’s a different way of learning e.g. learning on the job and course work. In my opinion this suits people a lot better than exams as you can draw upon personal experiences as well as text book answers. It shows you can be successful without a degree!!! Which I know my sixth form had old school thinking in that you needed to go to university in order to succeed. It’s a good way in to many different industries and allows you to work your way up the career ladder. I was fully qualified with additional qualifications by the time all my friends had finished university and were looking for jobs”. - Amy
