Our Vision & Mission We believe that open and relevant exchange standards contributes strongly to the industrialization of the building and construction industry, and thus to an increased overall productivity. Our vision is that the project will act as the starting point in Sweden for requiring open international standards such as IFC and InfraGML when exchanging data between infrastructure parties, and that this gradually will replace proprietary formats. Our mission is that all new road and railway projects in Sweden starting after July 1th 2018 will use “ifc Alignment” or “InfraGML Alignment” as exchange formats for alignment information, and that also other road & rail authorities will have a clear intention to start requiring this.
4
Aims and targets We are verifying the standards NOT the software's Verify that the standards can be implemented according to specifications Verify that interoperability can be achieved between the standards, different technical systems and platforms Analyze to what degree the standards fulfil the needs from actors in infrastructure projects Assure that infrastructure owners, such as Trafikverket can require the standards in procurement documents Increase awareness of ongoing standardization within this field.

Further testing planned
Locating other IFC objects along the alignment using linear referencing Demonstrating use of CoClass from IFC and InfraGML for objects/properties
