6 Musical Instruments Each person had a role: Drums made of gold or wood
Beater Blower Drum Beater Shell Trumpet Blower Drums made of gold or wood Flutes made of reed or bone Trumpet made of shell or ceramic Rattle made of wood or ceramic Each instrument symbolized a character

7 Sculptures Aztecs had 2 types Small: Large: Represent animals
Almost 2 cm high Large: Represent humans or gods

Nahuatl writing = pictograph and hieroglyphic Nahuatl writing was symbols for characters
