Can I ride my friend’s bus?

We understand the importance of parents and students being able to contact one another. Therefore, students are allowed to bring cell phones to school. However, during school hours they are to be turned off and left in their lockers. Students may use them once they leave the school building. Students will receive a warning the first time they have their phone out without permission. Any future times, the phone will be confiscated and parents will need to come to school to pick up the phone.
16
BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE D108 has a technology model where students are able to bring a personally owned device to school for the purpose of learning i.e. iPod Touch, iPad, tablet, laptop, Kindle, Nook, etc. D108 has a acceptable use agreement form that must be signed by the parent and the student. Your teacher may choose to allow students to bring in their own device and if so, more information will be provided at a later date.
