PBAC Purpose Commander’s top management advisory group
Consider all aspects of the internal management of the command Include the preparation and execution of the installation operating program/budget Justify resources required Distribute resources received

PBAC Functions Receives and interprets guidance
Prepares and executes installation’s Command Budget Estimate (CBE) Evaluates performance of activities Reviews execution of CBE to identify and recommend adjustments

Office of the G8 Mission:
- Provides financial advice to the commanding general and staff - Formulates financial policy for the installation - Obtains financial resources through funding channels - Coordinates the review and analysis program for the command

Office of the G8 (Cont.) - Develops financial controls to safeguard resources - Serves as the Executive Secretary to the Senior PBAC - Serves as the Comptroller Career Program Coordinator (36A/B) for civilian and military personnel - Controls and conducts the force development/ manpower management function for the command
