Student Assignment Book:
Your student will be given a Student Agenda Book (SAB) the first week of school. It is a yellow book that contains places to write assignments and academic goals, as well as a calendar. The expectation is for every student to have it every day in every class It costs $5 to replace

School Day Procedures:
6th grade students are expected to have a 3-ring binder with: A divided section for each subject Homework Folder Pens and pencils Paper SAB Class specific requirements

School Day Procedures:
Electronic devices should be left at home or safely secured in your child’s locker! For emergencies, students can contact you from a school telephone

Edline A communication platform used by parents, teachers, and students: Assignments (homework, projects, lessons, etc.) Grades Upcoming events Teacher addresses Activation codes will be provided at a later date

Connect-Ed A weekly update phone call from our Principal, Mr. Dimmick
Provides useful information for the upcoming week and important events Can be used for important announcements

Attendance School starts at 8:15 AM. The expectation is that each student is in his/her seat, prepared and ready to learn at this time. When your student is absent, he/she should return to school with a signed note. Your student is responsible for making up any work missed while out of school.

Volunteer to chaperone field trips Encourage your student to participate in after-school activities Run your own approved after-school club Listen to Connect-Ed messages for school-wide events Join/contact the PTSA

When? March (3 days and 2 nights for each group) What? Learn about nature and apply your science skills outside of the classroom Build lasting relationships with other classmates Work together to meet goals Have fun evening activities such as night hikes, carnival, and campfire
