It is the ability to do everyday tasks without becoming short of breath, sore,or tired

Health related fitness
It involves exercise activities that you do in order to improve your physical fitness and stay healthy Cardiovascular endurance- is the ability of the heart and lungs to work efficiently during physical activity Examples of endurance exercise Walking Dancing swimming

Health Realted 2.Muscular Endurance 3.Muscular Strength
Is the ability to use a group of muscles over and over without tiring easily Ex. plank push ups The amount of force that muscles apply when used Ex. lifting weights heavy gardening ( shoveling and digging)

the ability of the joints to move through their full range of motion Ex. stretching yoga A comparison of weight of fat in body to weight of bones, muscles and organs Ex. burpees pushups

Skill Related It is the ability to do well in every day life activities and sports Agility- ability to move quickly and easily Ex. Forward-backward sprints hurdles stair running Balance- ability to stay upright or stay in control of body movement Ex. Standing on one leg at a time walking sideways

The ability to exert a maximal force in a short amount of time Ex. bench press throwing jumping Is the ability to respond quickly to stimulus Ex. sprint

Is the ability to move two or more body parts under control, smoothly and efficiently. Ex. Back flip Twist jump Balance on hand and knee Is the ability to move quickly across the ground Ex. cycle swim

Health & Wellness What is the difference between health and wellness?
Health is a dynamic process because it is always changing Ex. Back pain Wellness is the search of quality of life, personal growth and potential through positive lifestyles behaviors and attitudes Ex. Change of lifestyle

There 4 components of health
Social Health- the ability to interact well with people and the environment and to have a satisfying personal relationships Mental health- the ability to learn and grow intellectually Emotional health- the ability to control emotions so you feel comfortable expressing then and can express then appropriately Spiritual health- A belief in some unifying force. It varies from person to person but has the concepts of faith at its core

If we can take responsibility for our own health and well-being, we can improve our health on a daily basis.
