1. Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us

O LORD,
have mercy on me;

and restore comfort to him

and I will be healed;
and I will be saved,

7. I desire mercy, not sacrifice
On hearing this, Jesus said,
It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
But go and learn what this means:
I desire mercy, not sacrifice
For I have not come
to call the righteous, but sinners.
