1. Welcome
Ms. Theriot
I am looking forward to a great school year. In order to have a successful school year, there are a few policies and procedures you should be familiar with.

2. ENTERING THE CLASSROOM
Must be seated when the tardy bell rings.
Start on warm up immediately.
Upon completion of warm up, get out materials needed for class.
Sit quietly and wait for instruction.

3. DURING CLASS Stay seated. Raise your hand to get my attention.
Do not talk while I am talking.

4. EXITING CLASS Return all materials. Homework written down.
Do not pack up until I tell you.
Stay in your seat until I release you.
In other words...THE BELL DOES NOT RELEASE YOU, I DO!!!!

5. RESTROOM
You should go to the restroom between classes not during class. (School policy)
If it is an emergency, and only an emergency, you will be given 2 restroom passes every 9 weeks.
Must sign out in the binder.
If you choose not to use your passes, you will receive 5 bonus points each.

6. TECHNOLOGY
Most of our work will be done in google classroom this year.
Any misuse of technology will result in consequences.
1st time - call home
2nd time - lose privileges for a week (paper copies only)
3rd time - referral

7. MISSED WORK Most (if not all) will be on google classroom.
Have until the end of the 9 weeks period to make it up.
Anything not made up becomes a 0 in the grade book.

8. SUPPLIES Pencils - NO INK ALLOWED
One pack of loose leaf paper. No binder necessary. I will keep paper until needed.
One marble composition notebook.

9. CELL PHONE USAGE
DON’T DO IT!!
