What happened? Susan, a 35 year old teacher, has been preferred to a neurologist. Her mom had the same symptoms as she has been experiencing; uncontrollable movement of the hands and feet as well as a few bruises.

Diagnoses? HUNTINGTON’S DISEASE!
Huntington's disease is an inherited degenerative disease mostly common in people between ages of 30 and 50. The disease causes nerve cells in the brain to die which results in progressive problems with movement, mood and mental function.

Who discovered it? George Huntington, an American physician!!
He provided one of the first descriptions of the disease in 1872.

Treatments? There is no cure!
To help emotional and movement problems physicians often prescribe Antipsychotics Mood-staniblizers
