Argumentation in 12am After each act of Reginald Rose’s play 12 Angry Men, we will be looking back at how the jurors are trying to convince each other of their view on the guilt or innocence of the defendant. Let’s see how strong their arguments are. For each act, find one example of a logos argument, one example of an ethos argument, and one example of a pathos. Quote the dialogue and cite correctly using MLA guidelines. Ex. “I used to play in a backyard that was filled with garbage” (Rose 21). Explain how each is using ethos, pathos, or logos. Last, identify how strong, in your opinion, is each argument: Weak, Mediocre, or Convincing. Explain why. You may work w/ a partner.
