Financial Services Government Health Care Transportation In financial industry, machine learning helps preparing for customers best tax return based on human input. It uses the learning capability to understand the financial language in tax services and provides customers with a transparent and smooth tax preparation process. In government agencies, the Department of Energy's self-learning weather and renewable forecasting technology uses machine learning, sensor information, and satellite observations to improve solar forecasting accuracy by 30 percent. In health care, machine learning can learn from patient’s medical history and symptoms from clinic’s database to generate accurate and timely diagnostics of patient health. Physicians only need to enter patient’s symptoms and other external factors and the machine will do the rest by mining through patient’s medical records and using its artificial intelligence to suggest a potential diagnostic. In transportation, ML enhances maintenance with unstructured data, natural language search, and additional analytics to inform maintenance planning, drive predictive maintenance and introduce new efficiencies to reduce turnaround time
