Training “one reason commonly given by firms for not training their staff is that these well-trained staff will then be approached by other firms.” Maybe those firm should focus more on motivating their employees to stay.

Different types of training:
Induction training: given to all new recruits On-the-job training: involves instructions at the place of work Off-the-job training: courses of instruction away from the place of work Training is expensive so you want to make sure that you keep your qualified staff through effective motivation techniques. Development and appraisal should be a continuous process

Discipline and dismissal of employees
