1. Today’s Document
Objective: The student will select a document to summarize and give an opinion on from the National Archives Today’s Doc App.
Turn on the iPad.
Double tap the app titled “National Archives Today’s Doc.
The first document you will see is the document for today’s date.
You can swipe right to see yesterday’s document, or you can swipe left to see tomorrow’s document.
After you have observed several of the documents, select one to analyze.
On your activity sheet, identify the title of your selected document and what type of document it is (map, portrait, act, political cartoon, photo, etc.
Summarize the document.
Give your opinion of how this document changed history.
