Put an exclamation point (!) beside your attention getter.

The Issue Put a sad face beside your issue. You should have elaborated on your issue, so you should be able to put 2-3 sad faces.

Your Solutions! Put the sign of the Red Cross (+) next to each of your solutions. These should be SPECIFIC ways that people can help your solve issue. You need to have AT LEAST TWO Red Cross signs in your speech.

Benefits of the Solution
Put a squiggly line underneath the benefits of your solution. You should have at least a couple of benefits for your solution. How is the world going to be a better place if your solution is implemented?

Call Them Into Action! Write the word “GO!” next to your call to action. This should be specific directions for your audience. What do you want them to go and do?

Persuasive Techniques
Circle and label any IMAGERY you included. (strong adjective, paint a picture for sense) Circle and label any ILLUTIONS you included (reference to person, event or text in history) Label any REPETITION that you included. Circle and label PERSONAL APPEAL (you, we, us, our) Circle and label any FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE you included (metaphor, simile, hyperbole)
