A detailed curriculum, profile, or ‘the what’ is not the direction that EH want to take talent development. The priority is for coaches to focus on the environment and experience that is going on. The coach developer workforce is critical to embedding this GOLDEN THREAD through every coach development opportunity
Apply ‘The Golden Thread’ – THIS IS A MUST
It is exactly the same for the environment that we try and create for coaches. When ALL sessions are fun, coaches are getting lots of opportunities, there’s constant decision making, coaches are getting stretched (mentally), ensuring their sessions look something like hockey and when you’re generating repetition without repetition AS A MATTER OF COURSE

3. What – Games not Drill Culture
Playing hockey is the best way to learn. Players need games that:
Stimulate them technically, tactically, physically and cognitively in equal measure
Promote understanding of the game
Improve their perception and decision-making ability
Help them learn to adapt quickly and effectively to constantly changing situations of the game

Tuesday Night – Club Training
Club Training - cater for all players
Open to everyone – Mens and Ladies (and competent juniors)
Fully paid up member (or new to the Club)
Thursday Night – Intensive / Development Training
High Intense training
1st XI squad member – or by captain/coach invite
Selected in Player Pathway (DC; AC; PC) and qualify to play senior hockey by way of age
