2. Run Audio Set-up Wizard - follow the prompts to complete the wizard

3. Time to become familiar with the new Blackboard Collaborate.
Raise your hand to be given permission to talk -say your name
In the chat put one thing you are looking forward to this year.

5. Use the typing tool (A with lines) to type a positive note to WYVA students for the upcoming school year.
Then try typing one positive word using the “Capital A” tool.

6. Use the pointer tool to connect the dots
Use the pointer tool to connect the dots. Try clicking and letting go to see what happens and then try holding the mouse and dragging from one dot to the other to see the difference.

7. Use the solid and outline drawing tools to draw at least two different shapes.

8. Use the polling tool to mark a green check if you feel prepared to start school or a red x if you feel as though you need more time.

9. Right click on someone else’s name and start private chat.
Try moving to a breakout room by clicking the button next to the polling box and choosing a room to move to.

10. Use the arrows to change the pages
Use the arrows to change the pages. If the box next to Follow is checked, send a chat message to the teachers to allow you to change pages.

11. Save the files for review
Save the files for review. -Click -File -Save –Whiteboard -Choose All pages (unless you only want the page you are on.) -Make sure you choose file type Whiteboard PDF!!! -Choose a location and click save
