WG C meeting in Ljubljana, 22 April 2008 Trends and trend reversal – presentation and discussion of amended draft: Principles – according the discussion at the Lisbon meeting (2007) Considering requirements of WFD and GWD Elaboration of ”cornerstones” to be considered Not too prescriptive Allowing for certain flexibility in implementation Complemented by case studies – demonstrating practical implementation in line with the guidance

Activity WGC-3 Improved & Integrated Risk Assessment for Groundwater at River Basin Level update of characterisation under Art. 5 of the WFD (until 2013) supporting River Basin Management Planning (2nd cycle) adaptive management ‘lessons learnt’ by implementing the WFD during the last years!
